Admissions/Tuition

Thank you for your interest in Woodmont Academy. The following is provided to help guide you through the admission process. Testing and Interview
The Admissions process includes testing and an interview. Applicants are not tested for entrance into Pre-K. All K-8 applicants will be tested for academic readiness, including Woodmont Pre-K students entering kindergarten. Both parents will be interviewed prior to acceptance (all grades). Testing and interviews can be scheduled at our Open Houses or by calling our admissions office following the receipt of a completed application.

* Sibling discount applies based on the number of K-8 children enrolled per family.

A registration fee of $400 for K-8 and $250 for Pre-K is required for enrollment. This is a down payment of your tuition.

Payment Options
Tuition may be paid in full, or may be paid using the SMART payment plan. SMART is a tuition payment plan through which the tuition is paid in either eight or ten monthly installments. There is a $35 annual setup fee per family for the SMART plan.

Pay the full tuition balance by March 31, 2005 and receive a 5% discount. Pay the tuition balance in two installments, the first by March 31, 2005 and the second by July 31, 2005, and receive a 2% discount of the full tuition applied to your 2nd payment.

Non Refundable Application and Testing Fee
For new student applicants only, $75 per Pre-K student or $125 per K-8 child payable with the application.

Pre-K for 4 year olds 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. OR
12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
K – 8 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Woodmont Academy uniforms can be purchased from Neil Roberts School Uniforms at 1110 C North Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD 410-747-7583 or ordered online at www.neilroberts.com.

Woodmont Academy admits students of any race, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made to students.

After Care
After school care at Woodmont Academy is provided by Play Keepers, Inc. for children in grades K-8 from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. The fee for a five-day plan will be $181 per month for the 2004/5 school year. For more information, call Play Keepers at 410-484-6220.

Hot Lunch
Hot lunch is available two days per week, Monday and Thursday, through the Lunch Box Program. If there is a school delay or early dismissal, there will be no hot lunch that day; it will be made up at a later date. For more information or to place your order, go to www.lunchboxprogram.com.

SCHOOL DELAY/CLOSING POLICY
We will follow Howard County school system’s decision with regard to school closings, delays, or early dismissals. Howard County school delay or closing information will be posted as necessary on WBAL radio or TV.
